Japanese Garden

This is a diving spot located at the south of the Lebanese Freighter Wreck. It averages a depth of 18 meters and is an ideal spot for snorkeling. Amazingly, you can see marine life such as large coral heads, cabbage corals, black corals among others. The fish you can expect to see here include; lion fish, grey moray, groupers, angel fish and cornet fish.

Rainbow

This dive spot is named after the rainbow fish found here. It is located about 110 meters from the shipwreck buoy and is one of the best places to dive in Aqaba. You can expect to see a lot of rainbow fish, parrot fish and lion fish. Make sure you carry a camera. The rainbow fish is stunningly beautiful.

Black Rock

Another beautiful location to snorkel is Black Rock. It averages a depth of 14 meters and here you will swim along beautiful pods of parrot fish, box fish and trigger fish. It is advised you jump between Camping Site and Rainbow Reef.

King Abdullah Reef

This dive spot is located south of First Bay, between Ras Al-Yamania and Camping Site. It averages a depth of 15 meters and has the largest variety of fish species to sea in the whole of Aqaba. It boasts fish such as wrasses, triggers, goat fish, damsels, clown fish, odd spotted sting ray and many more.

First Bay

This is by far the most popular snorkeling spot due to the fact that it is next to Marine Reserve. It is a coral garden that features a wide array of fish and marine life. It averages an 18-meter depth. Expect to interact with fish such as puffer, squids, octopus, icon fish, groupers, scorpions, stone fish and many more.
