Listen to the Chiming of the Orloj in Prague

One of the most beautiful cities in the world and one of the most visited cities in Europe; Prague will appeal to all type of travelers, from history buffs, shoppers, foodies, backpackers, explorers, thrill-seekers, romantics, connoisseurs, adventurers, and even ghost hunters! It is a magical city that will lure you with its exciting night life, UNESCO heritage sites, palatial castles and churches, food and drinks, and a whole lot more.

A city of about 1.3 million inhabitants, Prague plays hosts to 6 million tourists annually. You can either take a flight to Václav Havel Airport serviced by more than 25 domestic and international carriers, or take the bus, car or train from most European countries. Although the official language of Prague is Czech, you can get by with English and German which are widely spoken. The city is located along the banks of the Vltava River, the longest river in Czech Republic.

The first place you must visit in Prague is the Old Town Hall and the Astronomical Clock, a complex consisting of an old town hall, an imposing gothic tower featuring a bay chapel, and an Orloj, an unusual astronomical clock dating back to 1410 which chimes hourly. Pay the Prague Castle a visit, which according to the Guinness Book of World Records, is the largest castle complex in the world. Pass through Charles Bridge, the oldest Bridge in Prague. You must also take a river cruise along the River Vltava and enjoy the views of the city from the water.
