Tsim Sha Tsui is one of the greatest places in Hong Kong to find culture, entertainment, and bustling activity.

Tsim Sha Tsui, often abbreviated TST, is an urban area in southern Kowloon, Hong Kong, and part of the Yau Tsim Mong District. Geographically, Tsim Sha Tsui is a cape on the tip of the Kowloon peninsula, and boasts amazing views of Victoria Harbour.

The city itself is a major tourist, business and recreational hub, providing visitors and locals alike with various avenues of entertainment. One such avenue is shopping, and the city is famous for this. Many big brand names have set up shop in Tsim Sha Tsui, and one can literally spend days shopping if one so desired. The city is therefore considered a fashion capitol, and one would be amazed at the availability of and accessibility to some of the most popular name brands in the world.

There are also a few museums in Tsim Sha Tsui to visit, such as the Hong Kong Museum of Art, the Hong Kong Space Museum and the Cultural centre. Check out these places to learn more about China’s culture and history, among other things, and see amazing exhibits, displays and shows.

The Avenue of Stars, located in Tsim Sha Tsui, East Kowloon, was constructed to showcase China’s local and thriving movie industry. Its architecture was modelled after the Avenue of Stars in Hollywood, USA, and features 73 movie celebrities’ tablets inlaid on the surface of the avenue. Many of Hong Kong’s movie stars have left their handprint here including Jackie Chan, and one can go and see these, as well as enjoy the atmosphere, restaurants and bars in the area.
