Our preferred partner for Sri Lanka, one of the worlds most up and coming destinations, offers an ideal way for nature and wildlife lovers to explore this attractive island nation!

Sri Lanka is the ultimate destination for nature and adventure lovers. It has an abundance of Asian elephants, monkeys in the rain forests, tropical lowlands, waterfalls, and beautiful beaches. Home to hundreds of different species and birds, including blue whales, you’ll never want to leave the wildlife of this beautiful biodiverse hotspot.

In addition to Sri Lanka’s abundance of wildlife, its cultural heritage dates back more than 2000 years, rich in Buddist presences and influences from Indian, Arab, and European adventurers – dating back over centuries.

Some of the great highlights for this wonderful trip to Sri Lanka include; primate watching in the 12th century ruins of Polonnaruwa, searching for leopards, sloths, bear, jackal’s, Asiatic buffalos, and wild boar throughout the Yala National Park, and visiting Mirissa Harbor on a cruise in search of blue whales in a private chartered boat. You may also see some dolphins, orcas, and sperm whales!

The small groups this partner offers (10 people maximum) ensures a very intimate experience in the wilderness. Each trip has a Sri Lankan national guide, as well as an Expedition Leader, ensuring the most knowledgeable interpretation and attention as possible.

Accommodations are carefully chosen and are of the highest standards – Yala National Park features a tented safari camp – and also a beautiful boutique property on the Indian Ocean, to villas, a plantation, lodges, as well as a gorgeous 5* hotel.
