See the four corners of Italy as you follow the coastline throughout the country.

Italy is a country with rich culture, history and traditions. One thing it is little known for though, is its gorgeous, breathtaking coastline, which is approximately 4,660 miles long. Italy is definitely an ideal destination for lovers of the sea and water-based activities.

,Italy’s coast has countless gulfs, coves and inlets, touristic ports and long sandy beaches. It is also full of fishing villages and coastal cities with amazing sea resorts and day beaches, offering various water-based activities and all in picturesque locations, easily accessible by car, train, plane and vessels large and small.

There are also small islands for you to check out off Italy’s coast, such as Sicily—covered in natural reserves and breathtaking landscapes—and Sardinia, as well as Egadi—a natural reserve—and the Aeolians to Sicily’s north, which has two active volcanoes.
